GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE MUSEUM

Q: WHERE IS MOCA BANGKOK LOCATED?
A: MOCA BANGKOK is located at 499 Kamphaeng Phet 6 Road, Ladyao, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900. The museum is situated right next to the Benchachinda Holding Building (the twin glass towers). You can also find us easily on Google Maps by searching for “MOCA BANGKOK.”
Q: HOW MUCH IS THE ENTRANCE FEE TO MOCA BANGKOK?
A: Admission is 300 THB for adults and 120 THB for students with a valid student ID.

Q: HOW LONG DOES A VISIT TO MOCA BANGKOK TYPICALLY TAKE? IS THERE A TIME LIMIT PER VISIT?
A: Most visitors spend around 1–2 hours exploring the museum. There is no time limit, so you’re welcome to take your time and enjoy the exhibitions at your own pace..
Q: HOW DO I GET TO MOCA BANGKOK?
A:
BTS: Take the BTS to Mo Chit Station, then continue by taxi or public transport.
MRT: Take the MRT to Chatuchak Park Station, then transfer to a taxi or public transport.
SRT Red Line: Get off at Bang Khen Station Exit 2 and walk approximately 200 meters to the museum.
Bus: Stop at Office of Atoms for Peace 1. Bus numbers: 29, 69, 134, 187, 191, 504, 510, 555.
Car: From Vibhavadi-Rangsit Rd. (northbound), turn left at Wat Samian Naree, then turn right onto the local road by the railway. After one traffic light, MOCA will be on your left.

Q: IS THERE LUGGAGE STORAGE AT THE MOCA BANGKOK MUSEUM?
A: Available at the ticket office in front of the museum entrance.
Q: WHAT ARE THE OPENING HOURS OF MOCA BANGKOK?
A: MOCA BANGKOK is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed on Mondays.
Q: IS THE MOCA BANGKOK OPEN ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?
A: MOCA BANGKOK is closed only on Mondays. On most public holidays, the museum remains open. For special holiday closures or updates, please check our website or Google Maps posts for announcements.
Q: IS PARKING AVAILABLE AT MOCA BANGKOK?
A: Yes, free parking is available on-site for museum visitors.
Q: CAN TOUR BUS PARK AT MOCA BANGKOK?
A: Yes, tour buses are welcome to park at the museum. Please inform us in advance so we can arrange proper assistance.
Q: IS THERE FREE WIFI AT MOCA BANGKOK?
A: Yes, free Wi-Fi is available at MOCA Café G Floor.
Q: IS THERE ANY DINING AVAILABLE AT MOCA BANGKOK?
A: Yes, MOCA Café is located on the ground floor and open to all visitors. It’s perfect for a quick meal, offering a selection of rice bowls (donburi), spaghetti, hot and cold beverages, and desserts.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ART AND ARTISTS

Q: I WOULD LIKE TO EXHIBIT MY WORK AT MOCA BANGKOK. HOW DO I SUBMIT AN EXHIBITION PROPOSAL?
A: Temporary exhibitions at MOCA BANGKOK include retrospectives, group shows, and site-specific commissions, with a focus on Thai contemporary art and works from our collection. Our programme is planned at least a year in advance, and most exhibitions arise from in-house curatorial planning or direct invitations.
At present, we welcome external proposals for consideration. Please send a proposal and work samples to info@mocabangkok.com
Q: WHAT SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL?
A: Submissions will be reviewed by our curatorial team. Please note:
● We only accept proposals via email.

● Include a cover letter introducing your project.

● For exhibition proposals, please mention your preferred timeline.

● Only proposals suitable for our programme will receive a response.

● If your proposal is under consideration, we will aim to respond within 2–3 months. Thank you for your patience.

OTHER GENERAL INFORMATION

Q: MAY I USE THE MOCA BANGKOK LOGO?
A: The use of the MOCA BANGKOK logo on personal or commercial platforms is not permitted without prior written consent. Please contact us for licensing requests.
Q: CAN I TAKE PHOTOS INSIDE THE MUSEUM?
A: Photography for personal use is generally allowed. However, flash, tripods, and video recording are not permitted in most galleries.
Please note that changing outfits inside the museum and using the photos for commercial purposes (including product sales) is strictly prohibited. Kindly respect all signage and follow guidance from our staff.
Q: ARE GUIDED TOURS AVAILABLE?
A: Guided tours are available for groups upon request. Please contact us in advance to schedule a session.
Q: DOES MOCA BANGKOK HAVE A GIFT SHOP?
A: Yes, MOCA STORE, located on the Ground Floor (G), offers a curated selection of books, art-inspired merchandise, and unique souvenirs.
Q: DOES MOCA BANGKOK HOST WORKSHOPS OR PUBLIC PROGRAMMES?
A: Yes, MOCA BANGKOK regularly hosts art workshops, artist talks, and cultural programmes. Please follow us on social media or check our website for upcoming events.
Q: HOW CAN I SUPPORT MOCA BANGKOK OR MAKE A DONATION?
